Welcome to the DRAFT guide for Silverlight.

Silverlight is simply a new technology presented by Miscorsoft.

It combines the power of development using JS (Silverlight 1.0) or C#

(Silverlight 1.1 Alhpa) and the power of web animations and graphics
(like Mircomedai Flash).

During this video, you will follow these steps:

1. To view products made by Silverlight, you will need to install the Silverlight 1.0 plug-in (1.5 MB)

2. You will need to install the Visual Studio 2005 SP1 (471 MB)

3. You should now be able to install the Silverlight SDK 1.0 (22.5 MB)

4. You should then follow some steps to install the Microsoft Expression Blend 2
(Designing tool for XAML, language used to develop Silverlight applications)

4. a. You will need to install Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0 setup file (3 MB)

or download the full redistributable package (50 MB)

4. b. Then install Microsoft Expression Blend 2 September Preview (24 MB)
